Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does Play, Look and Listen download podcasts or stream them?
A: Both streaming and downloading are supported.

Q: How do I subscribe to a new podcast?
A: On the "Options" menu (the file cabinet icon on iOS, Windows or Mac OS X or the menu at the bottom of the screen on Windows Phone 7 or Android), select "Find Podcasts".  Type one or more keywords such as "technology" or "Oprah" to search for podcasts on that topic.  Click on a podcast in the list of results to subscribe.

Q: Will there be a free version of Play, Look and Listen?
A: We are exploring that option.  If we do offer a free version, it will be limited in some form and/or be ad-supported.  If the lack of a free version is preventing you from downloading and using the application, please let us know that you'd like to see a free version by sending an email to support@apocalypseinterrupted.com.

Q: How much will I have to pay for new features?
A: We're going to add many more new features to the current version at no additional charge.  

Q: Is Play, Look and Listen available on any other platforms?
A: Play, Look and Listen is currently available for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Android-based devices, Windows, Mac OS X, Chrome OS, Windows Phone 7 and any web browser.  If you'd like to see the application on a specific platform, please send us an email at support@apocalypseinterrupted.com and let us know.

Q: How do I know which version of the application I have?
A: On the login screen of the application, the version number is displayed on the lower half of the screen (e.g., "Version 1.0.100").

Q: How do I update to the latest version of the application?
A: For portable devices, please visit the marketplace or app store for your device to check for updates.  On Windows or Mac OS X, a notification will appear on your screen when you launch the app if an update is available.

Q: Does Play, Look and Listen support (insert feature here)?  If not, when will it?
A: We tried to keep the interface simple -- all functionality is exposed directly on a screen or accessible by pressing the MENU button on your device.  If you'd like to request a feature, we'd love your input.  Please send us your request(s) at support@apocalypseinterrupted.com
